About ISTAS
The Independent Schools Transport Accreditation Standard (ISTAS) is an independent accreditation scheme supporting
safe, compliant, and well managed school transport operations, operating with transparency, impartiality, and regulatory
integrity.
Audience & Purpose
ISTAS platforms are accessed by schools applying for accreditation, accredited organisations, and sector stakeholders.
Supplier advertising provides factual information only.
Advertising Principles
Advertising is optional, clearly identified, and operationally separate from accreditation assessment and decision-making.
Inclusion does not imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation.
Advertising Package
A supplier directory listing including supplier name, logo (where provided), a brief factual description, and a link to the supplier’s website.
Fees & Period
£600 for the period up to and including 31 December 2026. The fee relates solely to advertising space and does not influence accreditation outcomes.
Governance & Impartiality
ISTAS maintains impartiality in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1 and ISO/IEC 17065. Advertising income is ring-fenced and not linked to accreditation activity.
Supplier Responsibilities
Suppliers are responsible for the accuracy of information provided. Schools retain responsibility for supplier selection and due diligence.
